  • Bob
  • The Water Cycle
  • Hi! My name is Bob! I am here to tell you one way humans impact the water cycle.
  • The water cycle is the cycle of processes in which water circulates between the earth's oceans, atmosphere, and land.
  • When the cloud becomes too heavy, it precipitates, and gravity pulls it down, back to the ocean, and the cycle continues.
  • Precipitation
  • Condensation
  • Once in the atmosphere, the water molecules condense, then cling on to dust particles and form a cloud.
  • Energy from the sun gets added to water molecules and they evaporate
  • Evaporation
  • Extra Info :)
  • Transpiration is another process in which water from plants get evaporated through the stomata in the leaves into the atmosphere.
  • Transpiration
  • Groundwater flow is the flow of water that has been infiltrated into the soil.
  • Surface run-off is the water that flows on the soil surface
  • Infiltration & Groundwater Flow
  • Now that you know about the water cycle, I am going to tell you about one human action that impacts the water cycle, which is climate change, or global warming.
  • Climate change is being caused by the human expansion of the greenhouse effect.
  • What is climate change and global warming? Climate change is when the climate differs from its regular climate.
