Storyboard Text

  • “What, did not Polybus beget me?”
  • “Because Polybus was nought akin to you!”
  • “I untied you, when you had the soles of both your feet bored through.”
  • “Truly it was called his son; but she within, your lady, could best tell you how it was …  thou was’t born destined to misery!”
  • “There we beheld his wife hanging, entwined in a twined noose … and smote the nerves of his own eyeballs”
  • With this story comes a major theme: those who can see can't see the truth in front of them, and those who can't see have the ability to see the entire truth.
  • Oedipus had been given many warnings to stop his search for Laius' murderer but from his arrogance, he led to his own downfall.
  • The End --- Design Process: Abhinav Gupta (Period 3) Other Designers: None
