  • from the early 1900's and before women usually only worked in the house all day. Some women dreamed of having rights but for now they stayed they the home.
  • VOTE
  • During the early 1920's though, things started to change women want more rights and some even wanted equal lifestyles to men so they started to become more independent and do things fro themselves.
  •  This new era of women brought the flapper. Flappers were the most independent and outgoing of women. They wore short shirts, shorter hair, and lots of makeup. They went outside the home to speakeasies were they spent time with men and drank illegally.
  • All of the bold modern women who stood up for their rights got what all women had disereved, the right to vote in 1913.
  • These new rights encouraged women to make more of themselves than just a housewife, they got educations and soon jobs.
  • The women of the 1920's made life what it is today, women of this era made changes and got the rights and the freedoms they deserved.
