  • Who was Boudicca?
  • What did Boudicca look like.
  • When the Romans came they let Boudicca's husband stay as ruler of his tribe. When he died, Boudicca became ruler but the Romans stole from the tribe, made people slaves and they had Boudicca and her daughters whipped.
  • The Rebellion
  • Boudicca was the ruler of a Celtic tribe called the Iceni. The Iceni lived in Norfolk.
  • Attack on Londinium
  • Boudicca was tall and had long red hair. she wore a large golden necklace, a colourful tunic, and a thick cloak held together by a brooch. she had a loud voice and could give you an angry look.
  • Defeat
  • While the Roman Governor was away, Boudicca and her army attacked the Roman rulers. They destroyed the capital city of Roman Britain, which is now Colchester.
  • The Roman Governor tried to get everyone to leave London before Boudicca got there with her army. boudicca and her army destroyed London and St Albands. Over seventy thousand people were killed.
  • The Roman army beat boudicca and her army in the battle of walting street. No one knows what happened to boudicca. She might have killed herself she lost the battle, or died after getting ill.
