  • It's been five years since I've any protein. I used to think that protein was bad for you.Now I'm not so sure. I've been having lots of cramps, I've been feeling very weak, and I've been feeling very sore.
  • Now that I think about it, protein is really important to the body. It helps the body to repair tissue and build cells. Protein is also important for building up muscles, cartilage, and the skin.
  • Generally, we need lots of protein a day. In fact, we need 0.36 grams of protein per pound of weight.
  • Some foods that are high in protein are eggs, greek yogurt, peas, turkey, and cottage cheese, peanut butter, milk, and fish.
  • A really tasty recipe that is rich in protein is ancho chicken tacos! They  are full of flavor, and full of protein from the chicken and jalapeños!
