- Tectonic plates are the reason for earthquakes
- Can you believe the earth use to be one island imagine every country was one giant country
- Then the land began to move do to tectonic plates
- A tectonic plate is a slab of solid rock
- Have ever looked at the country's and relisted they all fit together perfectly almost like a puzzle
- While tectonic plates can cause a lot of harm throw earthquakes they also make what we know now as earth
- But due to the tectonic plates the contents have moved away and in a few million years they will move back together
- Whenever they move and collide they make earthquakes
- this was millions of years before humans back when dinosaurs still in fact dinosaurs are one of the ways we know that everything used to be connected there were fossils of a dinosaurs named Glossopteris was found in all of south america
- Rivers are made when ever tectonic plates move and make little passages
- Other planets don't do this, this a earth only thing, no they don't this is what makes earth special well that the fact we have water air perfect gravity and more but this is a big thing that makes earth special
