Hannibal's army had to cross the Rhone River to reach Carthage
Hannibal's army had to march through the freezing cold and through dangerous territory carrying extra equipment due to the cold. There were thousands of soldiers and Horses along with dozens of elephants mating across the Alps
Along the way, Hannibal's army had to battle a few of the native tribes that were allies with the Romans
Hannibal's army was attached by the Volcae people. the Volcae people used bows and arrows , so many soldiers of Hannibal's army could not attack as they used swords, only the archers could fight them.
As the Volcae people were fighting Hannibal's army, they did not know that Hanno's division was approaching them from behind. eventually with the army approaching from both sides, the Volcae people lost to Hannibal's army.
