  • "a brute so huge he seemed no man at all" 
  • Odysseus was curious to see the cyclops, Polyphemus. 
  • Odysseus was an adventurist and was curios to see the cyclops.  
  • Odysseus was later trapped and sacrificed 4 of his men to the Cyclops and was trapped in a cave with the beast.
  • Odysseus was clever and knew he couldn't kill the Cyclops because Polyphemus was the only one strong enough to move the boulder so they could escape. 
  • Odysseus got the Cyclops drunk and blinded the Cyclops when he slept with a giant wooden spear, hid his men under Polyphemus' sheep to trick the him so he would move the boulder.
