  •  When the day April 19, 1775 came around, people started to  fight at Lexington, and this kicked off the Revolutionary War. King George wasn't happy. 
  • On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress in America declared their Independence from Great Britain. King George didn't like this. He believed it wasn't right to declare independence like that.
  • On October 7, 1780, the tides changed while battling at Kings Mountain. The Americans won this battle, and King George and his army were left stunned by their defeat. 
  • We lost a battle!
  • As the American Revolution wore on, King George became more stressed, as the Americans defeated the British Army. 
  • On September 3, 1783 the Treaty of Paris was signed and the Americans took home, land, and freedom. King George did not enjoy losing America. After all, he did go through the French and Indian war to get a lot of the land.
