Lyddie is going to Lowell. She had to stop to rest on a rock. It starts raining. This is Person vs Person because Lyddie is trying to walk to Lowell ad it started to rain. This makes it more challenging as Lyddie can't control the weather.
Lyddie comes back to the tavern and the mistress was mad at her for leaving. This is Person vs Person because the mistress fires Lyddie.
Lyddie roomates tell her she has to go to church so she will seem respectable. This is Person vs Person because the mill requires the girls to go to church if they want to get a job there.
