Most of my life I lived in a capital city and so I used mainly public means of transportation.
I have also frequently sat in a car, but I was never the driver and I have never been in the need of a driver's license.
It is actually not even practical to have a car in the city; extra taxes, need of parking space, and bcs of the traffic it's better to use the public transportation anyway.
Then last year I moved to Fort St John. First I walked everywhere, now I often get a ride from one of my friends.
A couple of months ago I thought about obtaining a dirver's license here as unlike in a capital city, it would be great to have a car here. I found out how to obtain a license, but not only that I would need a friend to let me drive their car to train driving, I am not even able to do that as the rules of the program prohibit me to drive.
