Experience this version of the water cycle with Donny the water droplet!
Whoa! Where's my body?
Donny was resting deep in the Earth, which is called infiltrating, and was filtrating, which is the process of cleaning water. Right now, he is ground water. Suddenly, he got pumped up by humans! Donny was moving up into a bucket of other water droplets, and since all water droplets are attracted to each other, they all formed a huge puddle in the bucket.
After being pumped up by humans, Donny was taken in a truck to place where a lot of people were eating. He found himself in a cup, which was held by a human. It seemed like he was going to be drunk any second now.
When Donny was drunk by a human, he was absorbed by the human's organs. After a long, complicated process, Donny ended up in the human's lungs. In the lung, Donny had no physical form, since the human body is warm enough and has enough heat energy to keep Donny's water molecules fast and excited enough to keep form as air. Eventually, Donny is exhaled through the human's mouth, and into the air, which is called respiration.
It was a few hours after being exhaled that Donny finally started condensing. To condense, Donny had to have cool surrounding air, which is in the troposphere. To get high in the troposphere, Donny has to get heat from the sun and have fast molecules, but once he reaches the cold air, his molecules will start to go a little slower. While he was condensing, he absorbed water vapor, and because of this, Donny became a tiny water droplet again.
While Donny was condensing, he had to team up with other water droplets in the air to make a big cloud. When all the droplets finally formed their cloud, Donny met this older water droplet who gave him a lucky hat. The older droplet said he'll need it to be able to slow his molecules and precipitate. This is the end of Donny's water cycle, and he ended it by getting an awesome gift!
