This can't be happening!
It was a Wednesday, at 4:30 in my house, when my piano teacher, Mrs. Gordan, told me that she wanted me to memorize Fur Elise. I was so surprised. I definitely didn't see that one coming.
Okay, you can do this, just stay focused.
"Alright," Mrs. Gordan said as she was leaving, "I would like you to make sure you practice memorizing Fur Elice, okay Taylor?" "Got it." I say.
The next night, I decide to practice Fur Elise for the first time since Wednesday. I sounded terrible! I felt like quitting.
I decided to keep playing anyway. Even though I wanted to quit, and I was so tired, and it was so late, I keep playing and trying my best anyway. But I still didn't understand it.
So, I decided to go ask my dad for help, because he knows how to play Fur Elise, and is really good at it.
When I walked into the living room, I said, "Hey dad, do you think you can help me memorize Fur Elise?". "Sure!", he said. So we went downstairs to practice.
