  • CONFLICT
  • RISING ACTION
  • In the beginning we meet a king, who decides the fate of criminals by making them do it themselves. He puts them in an arena with 2 doors, one door holds a man eating tiger and the other a beautiful maiden who is fit to wed.
  • CLIMAX
  • A common boy had fallen in love with the king's daughter and she him, which the king did not allow and sent him to prison.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • The next day the young man would be sent to the arena where he could judge his fate.
  • RESOLUTION
  • The princess who loved the boy new what door held what, but was saddened to know if she told him which door held the maiden he'd marry her right before her eyes.
  • The princess thought about it for many nights, whether or not she should let him be married to another or be eaten by a ferocious tiger and wait for her in heaven.
  • Finally the princess decided and when the time came she signaled her love to open the right door. We do not know if it was the maiden or the tiger but what do you think?
