- Around 431 B.C. Two Greek city states, Athens and Sparta went to war for many years.
- Pericles, the Spartans are coming and they are planning an attack!
- Get everyone inside the city walls! We can't let them win!
- Athens had prepared for this though. They built big walls so that the Spartans couldn't get in and the Athenians could still fish.
- How are we supposed to get through these walls?!
- We'll find a way, FOR SPARTA!
- FOR SPARTA!
- Then, disaster struck in Athens. A plague came and killed many people in Athens, including their great leader, Pericles.
- Pericles, NO! We need you!
- Sparta left in fear of catching the disease, however both city states were strong. In fact, Athens even attacked Sparta's allies in Sicily.
- ATTACK!
- The cities even made a truce to stop fighting, however it did not last and Athens launched another attack on Sicily
- Peace... I think not! ATTACK!
- Not again!
- THE END
- With help, Sparta built it's own navy and defeated the Athenian navy. After the win, Sparta attacked Athens. Athens fought back but Sparta had cut off their food supply and Athens was forced to surrender.
- Hey, look up there!
- They surrendered! THAT MEANS WE WON FOR SPARTA!
