Kristen felt fluffy gray dust between each of her toes on her grandma's basement floor. The freezing gust of wind ran through her blackish brown hair. She quickly realized she should shut the dusty old, metal window so that's what she did.
On her way back from the window she could almost taste the old granny dresses from her grandmas prom and other special occasions. Meanwhile after Kristen took the old dresses to her grandmother
she went to open the fridge to clean that out knowing that she was taking a risk, because who knows what's in that old blue fridge. As Kristen opened the fridge her nose gagged as she smelled moldy veggies, rotting meat, old cookies, the list is endless.
Suddenly Kristen`s eyes widened as she spotted a curious looking shadow in the dark basement, but all she could see was a light wave of gray. She couldn't tell whether it was just her imagination, knowing the she was afraid of her grandma's basement.
She always felt like something was in basement. But she didn't care. The thought of a ghost being in her basement quickly popped in her head as she shivered.
Without warning,Kristen heard a box fall as she walked the other direction away from the box,She slowly walked the opposite direction to the brown packing box as her legs instantly became jelly. She saw nothing but she quickly got a heat flash and started to squeeze her fists together.Kristen kept packing but she did not want to keep to, the only thing that kept her going was that she would get ten dollars, a plate of piping hot fresh chocolate chip cookies, and her own room at her grandmas new house. Knowing that her younger brother and sister would have to share a room.
