Carbon enters the plant through the leaves and enters the stem.
cellular respiration
using the carbon the plant triggers a light dependent reaction that creates NADPH and ATP in the stem through chlorophyll and water which is located in the chloroplast. After this the ATP made is used for the plant to go through photosynthesis.
part 2
The animal then eats the plant and the carbon atom is now inside the animal and the cellular respiration process begins.
The final
The carbon is used in the process along with oxygen and hydrogen to start the actual process which the mitochondria uses all these elements to make water or acid to reduce the energy we use. The four steps are Glycosis, Pyruvate oxidation, Citric acid cycle, phosporylation. The glycosis stage doesn't require oxygen to start the process but the other three do.
co2+h2o
The 4 generate different things that benefit us such as acid that reduces the energy used. Or making ATP,NADPH and FADH for the next step which is the citric acid cycle. This cycle is used for the grand finale which produces water by using protons and electrons finish going through the ATP process and get accepted by oxygen to make water. This is the end of the process and this helps make us food and release carbon back into the atmosphere to restart the cycle
The animal is killed or dies and decomposes restarting the process.
