foolish hunter, not even you can follow me here for there is no light
That may be true but mark my words one day I WILL slay you foul creature
the hunter was dismayed never before had his prey escaped him and never before had his hunt been so important for this dragon has destroyed many kingdoms including his own and the hunter made a vow to the survivors that he would slay the beast but every time he got close to the kill it would slip into the shadows for there was no light in the forest because the moon was too afraid to go near it but the hunter was determined. Then as he tried to find his way home he came up with an idea, he must make more light in the night sky. The hunter drew back his mighty bow and aimed for the heavens
The hunter fired hundreds upon hundreds of arrows piercing the dark blanket of the night sky causing the light of space to spill in the small spots where his arrows pierced through he did this for several seasons and even when his arms grew tired and his eyes grew as heavy as lead he drew strength from his anger and loss and determination as he kept on drawing from his enchanted quiver and he fired and fired only leaving during the day to drive the dragon away eventually when just the right eventually enough holes or stars as the villagers decided to call them were in the sky that the mighty hunter was able to see in the dark forest he hunted the dragon down and slayed him and through out it all he never gave up
finally I have slayed the beast and avenged my people now my conscious is clear
so moved by his determination the gods rewarded the hunter a seat among them making him the god of the hunt when he passed and giving him the title "the celestial archer"
