Due to Barbaric invasions, they had to withdraw their legions in 409 AD
They broght their culture, with latin and Christianity
They built and developed towns, like Londinium, that became administrative and trading centres
They did several public works, such as paved roads and acqueducts
The roman invasion was mainly militar, so the jobs remained the same, as the population (not a lot of romans moved in England).
