It was a bright , sunny, cool, breezy day for the Old Sea Dog as it rested on top of the Pacific Ocean near Baja California.
Out of nowhere came a rogue wave ripping through the water at 20.83 mph. This rogue wave was over 800 feet in length and it measured 48 feet from the bottom to the top.
Scoot gets trapped inside the galley and is knocked unconscious. Up on top, Sully is trying to break Scoot out, but knows that he can't unless he is in the inside. He also knows how much water is in the galley. Frustrated with himself, he keeps trying to figure out a way to open the galley to let his sister out.
Falling Action / Resolution
Scoot wakes up after a while, but is confused because there is a pot beneath her feet. It takes her a moment to realize that the boat is upside down. She thinks that she is going to die alone and worries about her brother.
Scoot is at the butterfly window and needs to open it order to escape. She finds a toolbox with a wrench and starts plying open the brass dogs. I took 4 breathes to break each one. She finally broke the window and escaped to the top gasping for air.
As the two chattering kids were reuniting, the Red Rooster(sporting boat) had glided along side them. A man approached and asked them what. The kids explained and as they rode off in that big boat, the Old Sea Dog sank with a gulp and was never to be seen again.
