- Have you hear of the impossible color.
- No, but it sounds interesting
- Well, the impossible color is a color that we cannot see. When we mix blue and yellow lights it creates the impossible color.
- Okay!
- Do you wanna see if you can see the impossible color.
- Yellow paint mirrors generally light at long frequencies and assimilates light at short frequencies. Since blue paint and yellow paint both reflect center (green showing up) frequencies when blue and yellow paint are combined, the blend seems green.
- But in paint, yellow and blue make green
- equivalent rival neurons are restrained by green light, and the nonappearance of action tells the cerebrum we're seeing green. Likewise, yellow light energizes another arrangement of rival neurons, however blue light damps them.
