  • Victory at Inchon September 15, 1950
  • China Joins War Pushing Back UN Forces October 20, 1950
  • Peace Talks Begins February 1951
  • The North Korea People Army soldiers poured across the 38th parallel, and attacked South Korea.
  • US Marines made a surprise landing at the strategic port of Inchon, on the west coast of Korea.
  • MacArthur Fired for wanting to useA-Bomb April 1951

  • The Chinese army joined the war and helped North Korea push the UN forces back behind the 38th parallel
  • Truce Signed July 7, 1953
  • Peace talk began between North Korea and the U.N. in the village of Panmunjom, just north of the DMZ.
