Storyboard Text

  • Hey, have you ever heard of the Nature vs. Nurture debate?
  • No. Come to think of it, I haven't.
  • Well, let me explain. You see, this debate features  an argument of  whether a person's development is predisposed in his or her DNA, or if a lot of it is influenced by his or her own life experiences.
  • Wow! I never knew that! Could you tell me more about it?
  • Remember kids, you should always respect both nature and nurture, and  learn to always be yourself, because it's what you think of your own  personalities and traits that counts!
  • Why, sure I can! Nature refers to the genes we get from our parents, while nurture refers to how we were born during childhood.
  • Ha ha! No, not those  kind of genes, silly!
  • "Genes"? But we wear jeans every single day.
  •  I  think that was   a    misunderstanding.   By "genes", I'm actually  talking about our DNA and specific characteristics we receive from our parents, like our eye colors.
  • Well, surprisingly, I'm glad you did!
  • Oh yeah. I get it now. I just wanted to add some humor to what we're talking about.
  • Well, let's just say that in the end, according to science... it's a draw!
  • Oh, yes. Thank goodness indeed.
  • So, what were the final results of this debate?
  • A draw? Thank goodness!
