  • Evaporation is the changing of liquid into water vapor. The water evaporates into the water vapor when it is heated by the sun.
  • Condensation starts by the air cooling And some of the water vapor turns into liquid, like the water droplets in the cloud. The water droplets are so small they remain suspended in air.
  • Precipitation starts when air cools further, so the water droplets can grow big. By doing this the droplets are able to fall from the clouds, becoming rain, hail, sleet, or snow.
