- Advent is a time each December where Christians prepare for the coming of Jesus. Most People, when they think of Advent, think of the Christmas themed calendars with treats and small gifts inside, but there is much, much more to this liturgical season. We wait during advent for the coming of God, our saviour to bring us eternal life.

- This is the advent reath. Its has four candles consisting of the colour of 3 purple candles and one rose candle. The Rose Candle represents rejoicing. The three purple candles represent prayer penance and preperation. All together the four candle represent the four weeks of advent.

- People love to sing Christmas songs during the Advent season. This Season we wait for Jesus. The time of Jesus coming again is unkown because only God know. Jesus will come down from the heavens and will come because our world is lacking its faith. Jesus will come and help or wolrd and regain its faith

- Advent has two parts. The first portion the First Sunday of Advent until Dec. 16 is preparation for the second coming of Christ. The second portion from Dec. 17 to 24 directly prepares us for the first coming of Christ, Christmas.
