Ed: Hello everyone, welcome to the Animal History show and I am your host Ed and today we are going to be looking a Mike the bear and his long time friend Buddy the hamster.
Ed: Mike is trying to find a good place to lay down and rest and Buddy's job is to stay low to the ground and make sure the area they pick is nice and clean.
Ed: Mike and Buddy have found a place to sleep. Mike has finally fallen asleep but for Buddy he is quite cold because his fur layer is not as thick as Mike's.
Ed: Buddy has been trying to wake mike up for a few hours now and Buddy is still really cold and has thought about just leaving Mike a note when he leaves.
Ed: Mike has finally woken up and Buddy decided to tell them that they must part their ways for now because it is to cold for Buddy's thin layer of fur to handle.
Ed: Now this is now showing natural selection by how Buddy's fur was not thick enough for the snow that had just came through where they were staying so Buddy decided to leave because of how cold it was has he left behind Mike who was able to stay because of his thick layer of fur.
