Storyboard Text

  • Guys look at the cumulonimbus clouds, I think we're gonna have a thunderstorm later.
  • What?
  • Okay lets find shelter and go to sleep the rain should be gone by then.
  • The warm front just started.
  • The updraft is starting we have to hurry to find shelter from the storm.
  • But it's dark and scary.
  • We should be safe in here from now on, plus this cold cave can protect us from the humidity too.
  • it's okay, we will get out when the dissipating stage starts
  • Good but, I can hear the thunder starting let's go.
  • GUYS WHAT IS THAT SOUND?!?
  • How does a thunderstorm start anyway? Does it have an eye like a hurricane
  • It's okay, it's only the lightning and the mature stage starting
  • The air cools as it rises. Water vapor condenses and forms cumulus clouds. When condensation occurs, heat (latent heat/energy ) is released and helps the thunderstorm grow. At some point, condensation high in the cloud (now in the form of water droplets and ice) falls to the ground as rain.
  • okay, guys it should be okay now, I can see the stratus clouds forming.
  • YAYAYYAYAYA
  • I'm so happy it's over! let's go home
  • Yea but I learned a lot
  • That was a crazy, scary thunderstorm!
  • I'm so happy we’re out of that storm!
