- The servants start mocking each other and then a fight breaks out. The prince breaks it up and tells them, if they continue, it will cost them their lives.
- Capulet and Paris discuss Paris' desire to marry Juliet. Capulet believes that his daughter is too young to get married, but Paris is eager. Capulet proposes that Paris should try to win Juliet's heart in the traditional masquerade feast
- In the Capulet house, Lady Capulet calls the nurse to find her daughter. Juliet, Lady Capulet and the nurse discuss if Juliet is ready to get married. Lady Capulet proposes that Juliet is to fall in love with Paris. Juliet cannot approve of Paris's love immediately, but will keep him in mind
- Romeo, Benvolio, and Mercutio attend the Capulet's traditional masquerade feast
- From across the room. Romeo spots Juliet. All his emotion of Rosaline vanish in an instant, and he is now deeply in love with Juliet. Then begin to talk and end up kissing
- Romeo made a decision that he must find Juliet. He climbs a wall into the Capulet orchard. Juliet appears in the window above of the spot where Romeo is situated. They confess their love for each other once more, then depart
