  • This is the introduction to the Civil War!
  • Cause of war
  • The War started mostly because people of color weren't treated right and were forced to be slaves.
  • The War was also caused be the difference in rights between the people in the U.S.
  • Start of the war
  • This is the introduction to the Civil War that started in 1861 and ended in 1865. The war was mostly caused by slavery. The war was also caused by the difference in rights between the people.
  • Union war efforts
  • The war started mostly because of slavery. It was also caused by the difference in rights between the people. The rights also affected slavery because people of color had no rights.
  • Confederacy war efforts
  • The war started in 1861 where the Union and confederates fought. They fought because of their different thoughts on slavery. The confederates thought that slavery was a good thing while the Union though it was a bad thing.
  • Legacy of the war
  • The Union saw that they could attempt to take over the Mississippi River. They wanted to use the river to their advantage. They wanted it to take over the confederates land so they can win the war.
  • The Confederacy tried to fight back but the Union was getting to close to winning the war. The Union had taken over the Mississippi River. The Confederates had little resources and couldn't fight back as much as they hoped the could.
  • The Union had won the war against the South. They used the Mississippi River to their advantage and they took over the Southern homes and towns. The Confederates became part of the Union and gave up slavery so everyone in America were the same.
