Storyboard Text

  •     One day, I was hanging with my family out in the big ocean. Excitement was buzzing in the air. Today would be my first time evaporating. We had all danced and celebrated long into the night and as dawn was approaching, I left my family and waited at the very top of water.
  • Just when I thought the sun wasn't ever going to come up, I saw it. I saw the sun shine down on me. All of a sudden, I was being lifted and changed from a single drop to water vapor, this is Evaporation. I rose up to collect in the air and shouted, "Goodbye!" to my family.
  • I gathered together with all the other vapor particles in the form of a cloud, this is Condensation. Let me tell you, it was more crowded than being stuck in an ice cube! It got so crowded that I decided to fall in the form of Precipitation.
  • I fell on the mountains as snow, and was excited that my adventure wasn't over. I landed softly on top of other snowflakes and quickly made friends with them. It appears from what they said that I might be on the mountain for a while.
  • But, my time on the mountain was short lived it seemed because not long after that tiring day, I began to move. I was sliding down the mountain! I was Melting into a Runoff! Once I reached the bottom, I sank into the ground, this is Infiltration.
  • I can't say how long I spent as underground water but soon I was being sucked back up to the surface by a plant, this is Aquifer Discharge. Once inside the plant, it released me into the air, this is Transpiration.
