Because it creates open space for sunlight to reach tree saplings creating biodiversity in forests and it also open spaces for animals like birds, elk and deer to live and roam
No Clear Cutting
Clear cutting disrupts the natural ecosystem causing animals to be displaced and relocate, also a loss of recreational land. Because of the leftover stumps undergrowth forms making the land unuseable
Why, what's the problem?
Oh wait, really? I didn't know that I don't want to not be able to go camping here anymore

Well, it's the balance between the needs of the environment, wildlife, and communities while conserving our forests for generations to come.
What's sustainability?
We can make sure we establish protected areas and conserve biodiversity. Our logging companies also have to have management plans and harvest accordingly, we also have to work together to get the word out about sustainable forestry.
