Rate of Change Assignment

LETS GO CAMPING BOYS!
Diamond building a campfire
The AROC (average rate of change) between hour one and two, of the fire decaying was at a rate of 6.25 lumens per hour. This will continue at a decreasing linear line. Therefore the fire should be burning for approximately 16 hours. Well more than we need!
On the third hour of the night, the wind increased dramatically. Therefore, the IROC (instantaneous rate of change) of the fire decaying on the third hour was 17.3 lumens per hour! 11.05 lumens faster than Diamond guess original assumption!
By the fifth hour, the campfire fully decayed, and the the three boys all woke up to a loud GRRR!
The three boys decided to bolt out of there, leaving all their camping gear behind.
