I respect her decision, I don't want her to suffer anymore. I just feel like I haven’t spend much time with her. I just wish I never left home.

I have talked to the son of Mrs. Judie and he said that they have decided to respect the advance directives of their mother.
In times like this, we can never tell what is the best decision to make especially if both choices almost have the same weigh. However, through the use of our ethical principles, we can make decisions which will be favorable for our patients and health care providers. In this case, we will not be held liable in case of any losses because of the principle of autonomy which states that at the end of the day, we will respect the decision of our patients
