- Eli-I cannot see because when I saw the sins committed by my sons hashem took my sight. Hashem has been a little bit distant since the atrocity that happened with my kids but obviously he is not gone.
- Shmuel-I ran to Eli and told him "here I am, for you called me."
- Hashem-'Here I am"
- Eli-"I did not call, go back and lie down "
- Shmuel-Someone is calling me again so I went to Eli and I said "here I am, for you called me."
- Hashem-"Samuell"
- Eli-"I did not call, my son, go back and lie down"
- Shmuel-For the third time I went to Eli and told him "here I am, for you called me."
- Hashem-"Samuel!!"HE called him for a third time
- Eli-Then I realized Hashem was the one calling Shmuel so I told him "Go and lie down, and if HE calls you, you should say, speak hashem, for your servant is listening.
- Shmuel-"Speak, for your servant is listening"
- Hashem-"behold, I am going to to do such thing in Israel that when anyone hears about it , both of his ears will ring. I am going to execute Judgement to Eli's house forever for the sin he committed (that his sons had a bad behaviour, did jilul hashem and Eli didn't controlled them)."
- Hashem-"Shmuel, Shmuel"HE called for the fourth time.
- Eli- He accepted the bitter decree of Hashem and he asked Shmuel"What is the word that He spoke to you? Please do not withhold from me! Such shall God do to you and such shall Hedo further, if you withhold from me anything from the word that He spoke toyou!"
- Eli- I accepted the bitter decree of Hashem and I asked Shmuel "What is the word that HE spoke to you? Please do not withhold from me! Such shall God do to you and such shall He do further, if you withhold from me anything from the word that He spoke to you!"
- Shmuel-I told told him what he wanted to know in words that did not withhold him and I said "He isHASHEM; He will do what is good in His eyes."In the end I (Shmuel) grew up with Hashem, Hashem did not cast any of his word to the ground and everyone form Dan to Beer-sheba knew that I (Shmuel) was a faithful prophet to Hashem.
