  • The main idea of the reading was that the King/Queen of England would do unjust things but they formed a good relation with the parliament.
  • Therefore they would never go against the King/Queen and the parliament also gave the king money when he asked.
  • The parliament helped the Queen by keeping quiet about her foreign policy’s and weeding issues. This all happened between 1485 and 1603.
  • One major detail is that the parliament helped Henry VIII when he broke the Roman Catholic Church between 1485 and 1603.
  • Also the parliament helped the King by funding money for the war.
  • The parliament only helped the King and Queen and did not rebel against them but instead giving money and power to the King and Queen.
