  • this is our land and we need to protect it!
  • we could help...
  • George Washington believe the Northwest territory is better for the growing country safety wise. so he sent a group of soldiers to fight at Ohio Valley.
  • of course sir! its our land!
  • send a group of soldiers up west
  • Meanwhile back there; the Native Americans (little turtle's army) wanted to protect there land and teamed up with the British to fight against the Americans for the land.
  • We will leave I swear!
  • definiteley
  • Then sign the Treaty of Greenville then.
  • The battle occurred against the Americans and the native Americans which had help from the British.
  • Americans won the battle of fallen timbers and decided to send soldiers to the west.
  • The Native American tribes ignored their previous leader, Little Turtle, and got a new leader who surrendered and left the land sine they didnt want to encounter the Americans and the British didn't want to help; all they had to do was to sign a treaty.
  • About 2,000 Native Americans left their land to us. Most of present-day Ohio and Indiana is where they used to be.
