#### Storyboard Text

• One day after school Jack met up with a couple of friends at a restaurant. During the hangout Jack was looking for his backpack and realized he must've left it somewhere.
• Dude, what happened where you going?
• He then rushed out of the restaurant and as he was about to run off his friend Ezekiel stopped him.
• I lost my backpack I need to find it.
• Just as they were conversing and trying to recall the last time they saw it a kid from their school ran right between them with the backpack.
• Hey! Stop right there you have my backpack.
• Ezekiel hurts his ankle during the chase and is hurt really bad. It is up to Jack to get his pack.
• In order to get up and chase after his thief, he must use the trigonometric function of the tangent to find out how high he must jump.
• Jack manages to solve the equation and gets 26.17ft. He jumps after his thief but he runs away.
• Jack's thief then jumps onto the top of a building and he must do that too in order to catch his thief.
• Jack calculates his answer and gets 21.99ft and jumps to catch his thief but he runs again.
• In order to catch up with his thief, he must use the tangent equation to find out how high he must jump.
• Jack spots that his thief is hurt now all he needs to do is build something to get to him.
• He then uses the equation of sine to build a structure able to reach his hurt thief. He discovers he must build a structure with an angle of 57 degrees.
• After he reached his thief he learned it was his teacher and explained that he wanted Jack to use what he learned about trigonometric functions to get his backpack back.
• After a long talk with his teacher they left and Jack was always able to use his math in real-world problems whenever he needed.
