  • That idea is impossible for it to prove
  • I think there was only one continent

  • He was not an expert in geology but he studied the weather. He liked the adventures because he loved to know all about his world
  • Don't give up
  • Alfred had a new idea about jigsaw fit, he thought that millions and millions of years ago there was only one continent called Pangea.
  • His death
  • Almost all scientists thought his idea of continental drift was wrong, Alfred theory was also a new idea that meant that the olds ideas were all wrong and that scientist were not it correct.
  • They proved his idea
  • He was correct!
  • Alfred could have given up, but he didn’t. He wanted to defend his continental drift theory so he spent all his life trying to prove he was correct.
  • Alfred died in Greenland doing an expedition, he never proved his theories in person, waking back to the camp he died frozen in a temperature of -54C.
  • In 1950s new evidence were found that evidence proved the idea of a continent called Pangea. Some scientists proved it and it became of a story.
