  • George Milton
  • George is small, quick, clever and he had dark features.  George is caring towards Lennie and sticks up for him, even though he is quick to discipline him.  "No reason for you at all for you. I like it here. Tomorra we're gonna go to work." pg.8
  • Lennie Small 
  • Lennie is a huge man with sloping shoulders.  Lennie is a man that is usually unaware of his actions and the consequence of them.  "I dont know why I can't keep it. It ain't nobody's mouse." pg.9
  • Candy
  • Candy is an old man with his left hand cut off.   Candy is a hard worker at the ranches, which is why he lost his hand, he also loves his old dog.  "That dog of Candy's is so God damn old he can't hardly walk... candy feeds him milk." pg.36
  • The boss was a good dressed man who was kind of tall.  The boss was in charge of the ranch and he was serious when it came to work.  "Listen, Small" pg.22
