Hello my name is Robbie Eberlein i'm a archaeologist travelling back in time to ancient history. Right now i'm in sumer looking at the complex irrigation system . The way the sumerians used the flooding to there advantage was very clever . If you where wondering the used gravity by making holes in the bottom so the water would flow out into the streams . Also the plow was a huge help to famers and to sumerians cause it did alot more work and faster.
This is where the scribes lived ,scribes are people who right writen laws for the government . I know that the job doesn't seem that hard but there are over 200 characters in there alphabet . The sumerian government was organized from your positions so king ruled for gods and where assisted by priests ,scribes then nobles.
This is where the sumerians praised the gods and pleased them by giving them art and food . The ziggurats where big rectangular tempels used to praise the gods because the sumerians believed that the gods lived in the sky.The reason sumerians built statues is because they where used for religious purposes.
This is where sumerian metalworkers worked . The metalworkers worked on necklaces ,armor, utensils , and tools. They played music with drums ,harps lyres ,and wind instruments.
This is a sledge with wheels before the wheel i had to pull the sledge which was hard because there was some much friction . But the we the sumerians invented the wheel which has way less friction then the sledge. so that means that the sledge with wheels is easier to pull.
This is where the cuneiforms and pictographs are made .Cuneiforms are ancient writings on clay like paper. And the pictographs are pictures like a comic or a picture in a book
