  • Pearl continues to yearn for Mr. Dimmesdale, the minister, to hold hands with her Mom and herself in public at daylight before she could fully accept him
  • Will the minister finally take us into his hands in broad daylight?
  • He will one day, but not now.
  • That man must be up to no good...
  • Hester Prynne receives word from the captain of the vessel that a physician known to her would be aboard the ship which leaves Hester in a daze.
  • Word beith that a doctor will be on board by the name of Roger Chillingworth. Thank goodness for him!
