They seem to all be asking for different things.... what can I do to make things more "fair"?
Here, your highness, all the complaints in the country.
Tennis Court Oath
We declare to write a constitution that looks supsicously alot like Amercias!!!
Storming of the Bastille
This is madness!!
lets but the commanders head on a stick!
DOWN, DOWN WITH THE BOURBON MONARCHY
It was the financial crisis that led to the meeting of the estates general. They gathered all the reforms and requests for the king for a better quality of life. The Third Estate demanded for more fair tax laws and better quality of life factors. They also didnt like the Vote by order system, which stated that the more superior estates votes were worth alot more than theres, and they believed that they should have the worth of more than one vote because they made up over 70% of the population.
The March On Versaille
The Delegates of the third estate Pledged to create a constitution. They also took a huge step and declared themseleves the National Assembly They created the "constitution 1791" which looked alot like America's new consitution, but it satisfied the third estate.
The Riegn of Terror
I think anyone who thinks or acts against the revolution should be punished harshly.
On July 14, 1789, Thousands of angry revolutionists stormed the Bastille, A great prison that was one of the kings most valuable stations. They demanded for revolution and wanted life to be a little more fair than what was being offered.
The Rise of Napolean
Im Average height, for the time. but im also the emperor, so suck it other monarchies.
Over 7,000 women stormed 20 miles from Paris to Versaille where the king sat fat and lazy. they demanded bread and made him promise to return to paris and support the revolution.
...and you're also coming back to paris with us, just FYI
A man named Maxmillian Robespierre got very into the politics of the revolution and hated anyone who seemed unsupportive. The Guillotine was created for a fair, equal and humane punishment for everyone, no matter your status. During the early parts of the Republic, the king was seen as a traitor for trying to abandon his country. eventually, King Louis the sixteenth would die under the blade of the guillotine.
Dang, I shouldn't have said that bread prices were too high...
A young army general by the name of Napolean Bonaparte had great Military success and quickly climbed the ranks. After he had almost totaol control of Europe, he crowned himself emperor. he also changed the reforms in france and quickly gained popularity. he was banished when he lost in a chrushing defeat from the Russians.
