  • It was the financial crisis that led to the meeting of the estates general. They gathered all the reforms and requests for the king for a better quality of life. The Third Estate demanded for more fair tax laws and better quality of life factors. They also didnt like the Vote by order system, which stated that the more superior estates votes were worth alot more than theres, and they believed that they should have the worth of more than one vote because they made up over 70% of the population.

  • The Delegates of the third estate Pledged to create a constitution. They also took a huge step and declared themseleves the National Assembly They created the "constitution 1791" which looked alot like America's new consitution, but it satisfied the third estate.

  • I think anyone who thinks or acts against the revolution should be punished harshly.
  • On July 14, 1789, Thousands of angry revolutionists stormed the Bastille, A great prison that was one of the kings most valuable stations. They demanded for revolution and wanted life to be a little more fair than what was being offered.

  • Over 7,000 women stormed 20 miles from Paris to Versaille where the king sat fat and lazy. they demanded bread and made him promise to return to paris and support the revolution.

  • A man named Maxmillian Robespierre got very into the politics of the revolution and hated anyone who seemed unsupportive. The Guillotine was created for a fair, equal and humane punishment for everyone, no matter your status. During the early parts of the Republic, the king was seen as a traitor for trying to abandon his country. eventually, King Louis the sixteenth would die under the blade of the guillotine.

  • A young army general by the name of Napolean Bonaparte had great Military success and quickly climbed the ranks. After he had almost totaol control of Europe, he crowned himself emperor. he also changed the reforms in france and quickly gained popularity. he was banished when he lost in a chrushing defeat from the Russians.
