in the Paleolithic times as shelter the used caves, but those homes where temporary because food and resources they needed. When it turned difficult to find food or others resources in one area the had to move to another place where it was easier to find food they did important changes each time they moved.they used to have small communities and that way was easier to move less because resources like food lasted more but either way big groups or small groups it was hard living that way.
they wanted to survive.as the Paleolithic age progressed thing became more sophisticated there shelter were not only caves some where made of bones, wood ,and rock .they soon realized that it was not good migrate for one place to an other so frequently so they wanted to make it permanently, but how?they funded a good place to live and instead of moving when a food resource was ended they start planting crops
in the neolithic age they build there houses with stone the only material the new how to use.they used to store and cook food just in case of emergencies.in the neolithic time people were more organized and had more chances of surviving.they use to work together and make things faster.
the Neolithic people had more possibilities to survive by the way they did things but they didn't work hard for it, they use to work hard to make there surroundings nice and pretty like there shelters.
the establishment of communities and the development of permanent shelters were important because they could invent new ways for making their lives safer and more comfortable and more permanently like there shelters.
