Storyboard Text

  • Judge Smithers: In the case of Ben V Hamilton Middle School. Ben, Please present your case to judges
  • Judges, Ben did not mean to cause any harm he just wanted to  to wear his favorite band t-shirt. But some of  his peers decided to argue with him about which band is the best. The principal decided this was  enough and she told ben to take off his t-shirt.   Ben refused and  they gave him suspension...
  • ...The principal was breaking the first ammendment by asking him take his shirt off beacause the Principal violated Ben's freedom of speech.
  • Hi, I am representing Hamilton Middle School. We needed Ben to remove his shirt because it was distracting the rest of the students from learning. Also, Removing Ben's shirt does NOT violate the first amendment.
  • After some very heavy discussion on who won the case.....
  • Judges: After some discussion, We believe that Ben has won this case because removing Ben's shirt is violating the 1st Ammendment because his t-shirt was speech but a diffrent type called "Cultral Speech." Therefore Ben has won this case
  • Ben: Yes!
