  • Austin's mission was stalled is about Austin arriving to Mexico City and seeing people dying over a disease called Cholera, Santa Anna wasn't there at the moment. Austin encorauged Texans to form their own goverment in the Texas colonies.

  • The Battle of Gonzales was the 1st battle of the Texas Revolution that started on October 2, 1835, in a town called Gonzales. The reason for the battle was that the Mexican government wanted a cannon returned by the Texan colonists, but they refused to return it. Mexican soldiers were ordered to retrieve the cannon from the Texans, so they had war but, Texans won.

  • The Battle of the Alamo was the 3rd battle of the Texas Revolution that started on February 23, 1836. The battle was fought over issues like federalism, immigration rights, slavery, and especially over money, between the Mexican army of General Santa Anna and Texas soldiers led by William B. Travis. The Mexican Army won the battle by killing all the Texan soldiers inside the fort.
