  • Hey do you think you can tell me the difference between Homogenous mixture and a Heterogenous mixture
  • Sure Thing!
  • A Homogenous mixture uniformly distributes throughout the mixture. While a Heterogenous mixture does not have a uniform composition and properties throughout
  • I see. Now can you tell me the different types of mixtures?
  • Alright. There are three types of mixtures, there is Colloids, Solutions, and Suspensions
  • The main differences to point out is that a suspension will seperate into particles while colloids do not. A suspension is at least composed of two substances that are visible.
  • Interesting. Do you mind explaining to me what solute and a solvent is how to use them?
  • An example would be water, which is a solvent, and salt, which is the solute. Together they will make a salt solution
  • Well you see a solvent is a liquid and a solute is a substance dissolved in another substance. Both of them together will make a solution.
  • Thank you! I learned so much today because of you.
  • No problem! I'm glad you got what you need. If you ever need help come talk to me again.
