The first step in the systems approach is to collect information. For this you have interveiw potential clients, find out your target t audience, have a goal for the design, figure out the tchnical requirnments, what is the budget ant and what is the deadline.
All you have to do for this step is just collect information so you appeal to what your target audience is interested in.
Step two is to develop a plan. This could include a written proposal, a price quota, a customer contact, the development of a design team and/or a detailed action plan.
The third step is to brainstorm. In this step you can find inspiration from different forms of media like books and magazines. You can also sketch out ideas and look at similar designs.
The fourth step is to experiment. With keeping the goal in mind, you can explore a few different design options like fonts.
The fifth step is to proofread. Have other team members proofread your work because no one wants errors on a design.
The last step is to revise. A good revision strategy is to talk with the client about what they thought about the design. You should revise over and over to make something perfect.
