Neolithic Age Comic Strip
This storyboard does not have a description.
Olivia wanted to read a book about the gradual change from the Paleolithic age to the Neolithic age. This meant the change from hunting to farming. It took over several thousand years for this change to happen.
Ginger, let's read this story together about the agricultural revolution!
Jol lived in the way of life, in which everyone hunted and farming wasn't a thing that people did yet. Jol and other men's job was to be a hunter-gatherer and hunt food for his family. Sometimes when Jol and his family was living in one area, they would have to move again to find food. This was a disadvantage of hunting. And since there wasn't a variety of food to choose from everyday, sometimes families had the same thing for every meal.
This was the very beginning of farming. Some people believe that women discovered farming since it was there job to collect seeds, berries, and other plants. The beginning of farming led to the Neolithic age when people switched to farming, where as the plant grows, people can stay in one place and not have to travel to get their food. This led to the growth of community and cities.
*Gasps* We could use the seeds from the berries and put them in the ground... Maybe we could grow more berry bushes and get new food to try rather than the same thing every day! If this works, I could try this with more plants that grow around here!
