Exposition: Michael Oher doesn't have a home, and he sleeps on his friends' couches. His mother is addicted to crack - she is unable to take care of him. Conflict: Big Tony helps to enroll Michael into Briarcrest Christian School. Michael eventually meets the Tuohy family, and they give him shelter, food, clothes, education, and other necessities. Rising Action: Michael is now legally adopted by the Tuohys. He is engaged in football at school - little did he know this would change his life. But, Michael still needs to improve his grades. Climax: Michael is working very hard to improve his football skills and grades. He's getting offers from universities too. But, an NCAA investigator is accusing the Tuohys of adopting Michael just for his fame and success. Falling Action: Michael has worked very hard to achieve the required GPA for college football; Miss Sue helped him. Michael chose the University of Mississippi, and the NCAA investigator has stopped investigating his case. Resolution: Michael is ready for university now, and he is starting on the football team for Ole Miss. He is going to commence his path to success.
