may i have the flacon as a gift for my lil son to keep him alive?
After Monna's husband died her and her son went out of the country for a year by Federico's farm. While they were there Monna's son started hanging with Federico and his falcon. Then Monna's son got ill and and his mother was so much grieved.
Momma asked her son if he wanted anything to help. Since she asked he said "mother" if you can arrange for me. To have Federico's falcon , I think I will be well very soon. Momma thought about it an knew how much Federico's liked her and she never gave him a single glimpse from her. She answered her son "My son, take comfort and think only of getting well , for I promise you that the first thing I shall do tomorrow morning is too go for it and bring it back to you.
Federigo heard that Monna was looking for him so he ran to her. Monna said “Greeting Federigo” then she continued “I have to reward you for the harm you have suffered on my account by loving me more than you needed to; and the reward is this; I, along with this companion of mine, intend to dine with you- a simple meal- this very day”. Federigo took Monna to the garden and sat her down with somebody while he went to set up the table. Since it was late and he was poor he cooked the falcon as a meal. After Monna asked the question.
After Federico stopped weeping explained why he cooked it in the first place. Then he showed momma proof that he killed it. Momma thanked Federico and left in grief and returned to her son. A few days later her son passed away and momma was mouring and bitter
After mom was forced by her brothers to remarry. They said she was still rich and young so she had to marry someone . She asked her brothers to marry Federico but they thought that she was being silly. So she told them about what he did for her to have a great meal and persuaded them to let her marry him then they lived happy.
